These here questions are not exactly “frequently” asked; rather, queries you may have come up with while perusing this site.
Site Questions
◦ What program did you use to build TTC?
I used NetObjects Fusion. The header consists of an image from DB tankoubon 18 and was created in Adobe Photoshop Elements, with brushes from Gender and the Century Gothic font.
◦ May I use ______ from TTC?
Do not plagiarize any of TTC’s written content. Everything you read here has been typed by me specifically for this site.
As for images: I’d really prefer you not to take anything from my galleries for your own site. But if you want to use them to create graphics and such, go right ahead. You can even submit stuff to TTC when you’re done! ^^
Also, direct linking is bad and so is claiming others’ work as your own...
If you want to save the images to your own computer for personal viewing and/or for printing out, I can’t stop you! So, go crazy! They’re there for viewing and enjoying anyway.
◦ Why “Three’s the Charm”?
What’s in a name? Really, it’s just me trying too hard to be witty. I’m really bad at coming up with creative site names; but this one just seemed to fit. XP The title sounds like “third time’s the charm,” and it’s kind of along the same line. I happen to think Tenshinhan’s three eyes are his charm point, something that makes him stand out, identifies him, and makes you go, “aha!”. ^^;; Or something....
Personal Questions
◦ How did you get into Dragon Ball?
I was introduced to the DBZ anime by my cousin and best friend Amanda in the Summer of 1999. We watched the Ocean dub on Cartoon Network (at her house, because I didn’t get CN at the time,) and together became absolutely obsessed. Believe it or not, my favorite character wasn’t Tenshinhan; it was Chi Chi, of all people. (Insert collective gasps.) I referred to him as the Bald Dude (apparently because I actually knew Kuririn’s name..) I don’t know how or when I fell in love with Tenshinhan, though a part of the reason might have had something to do with Amanda loving Trunks and Vegeta and me wanting to be different. XP How ever it happened, I’m glad it did.
◦ Do you have any other favorite characters besides Tenshinhan?
If you haven’t already noticed, I love Chaozu to bits. ^^ Of all the characters in DB; he comes closest to usurping Tenshinhan’s position as Favorite Character. I love Chaozu just as much, though in a very different way. *laugh* Tsuru-sennin and Tao Pai Pai are two characters I find insanely humorous (like, slapstick humorous??) I also harbor a weird liking for General Blue... Um, and some of my other favorites are Gohan, Vegeta (he’s grown on me quite a bit since my early DB years), and “Super Uncle” Piccolo. XD
As for other series:
Peacemaker - Tetsu, Tatsu, Okita, and Suzu.
Fruits Basket - Rin, Akito, Hatori, and Yuki.
Loveless - Youji, Natsuo, Kouya, and Yamato.
Bleach - Ichigo, Orihime, Kira, and Matsumoto.
As for non-manga/anime: I absolutely adore Neville from Harry Potter, Peter from Heroes, Pippin from The Lord of the Rings, and Nobu from Memoirs of a Geisha. I tend to fall really hard for my favorite literary characters...
